AutoNation Headquarters AutoNation is seeking a motivated and ambitious Audit Manager who will work out of our Corporate office in sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL. As an Audit Manager with AutoNation you will be able to use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner with leaders across the enterprise and provide data driven analysis of our operations and procedures. You will also use your creative research methods and outstanding data analytics skills to develop testing methodologies that will evaluate the adequacy of controls. Our Audit Manager will be able to partner closely with Corporate, Region and Shared Service Center teams. What you will be doing: Lead, risk assess, plan, execute and report on all aspects of audit projects Evaluate internal control environments including people, processes and technology Ensure projects are efficiently coordinated and collectively optimizing the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance of the enterprise Analyze, test and evaluate large data files Increase operational efficiencies Utilize technology resources to perform data analytics that will identify unusual trends or practices Identify and investigate irregular transactions or business practices Write audit reports and present reports to Senior Management Remain current with accounting and operating policies and accounting systems Build and maintain effective professional relationships within AutoNation to ensure a strong working knowledge of current business issues and risks What you will bring to the table: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years’ public accounting or relevant knowledge Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or closely related field Inquisitive analytical and data analysis skills Hands on proven knowledge of performing technology-based data mining and analytics High degree of personal and professional integrity and professionalism Ability to successfully partner with remotely located teammates Desire to work in a highly dynamic, visible and challenging role with limited supervision Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Looking to advance in your career and evolve within AutoNation Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree and/or MBA Automotive retail audit experience Fraud or forensic investigative experience HFM/Essbase/PeopleSoft Systems experience ADP DMS / Datawarehouse experience Tableau experience SQL or Python R experience Pollack Brandt, Morrison Brown, McGladrey, Grant Thornton, Crowe Horwath Company Overview As America’s largest and most recognized automotive retailer, AutoNation is transforming the automotive industry through its bold leadership, innovation, and comprehensive brand extensions.
