Key Responsibilities

  • Perform setup of processing equipment.  Work with process engineers to prepare lab tools for customer demonstrations. 
  • Troubleshoot lab tool issues, including electrical and mechanical components. 
  • Perform preventative maintenance on lab tools. 
  • Operate laboratory process equipment and instrumentation.
  • Support development and Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP).  Install hardware, ensure operational, make improvements, identify issues, etc.
  • Apply basic analytical skills, scientific methods, or operational processes to perform activities.
  • Use communication skills to exchange information.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to collect data.  Use Microsoft Power Point to prepare reports.
  • Perform technical tests and experiments for engineering within R&D.  Prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering.
  • Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
  • Responsible for multiple technology products
  • Order materials to support the lab as needed.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling chemistry, performing tool maintenance, and all other lab activities.
