As an Operations Analyst Sr within PNC's Treasury Management Account Services organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM ET, with some limited weekend/overtime work as required by the business for large projects or conversions.

As a member of the account services implementation team, you will be responsible for a variety of daily activities set by departmental scheduling and requirements in which you will utilize time management and department procedures to accomplish. These activities could be both within the implementation work flow or also outside for multiple specialized functions we are responsible for across various systems. The majority of the day would consist of processing implementation work orders submitted by the treasury management sales associate community in a queue style environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the opening of checking, savings and certificate of deposit accounts for commercial and corporate clients based on the interpretation of the clients authorization documentation provided. In addition, responsibilities include maintaining existing accounts, closing accounts, and implementing cash management services such as ZBA, Sub Accounting and Investment sweeps. In this role, you would not only be partnering with account services leadership to ensure an excellent client experience, but also with the sales associate community to help answer questions and provide updates throughout the implementation process. Members in this role also assist with new hire training for future employees joining the team as well.

Job Description

  • Executes complex transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures. May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas.
  • Processes and/or reconciles complex transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures. Identifies and addresses exceptions and serves as a point of escalation for complex transactions. Partners internally with service partners to route calls, documents or other action items to complete transactions. May interact with external customers to complete transactions.
  • Ensures the appropriate materials, documentation and capacity are available to complete transactions. Confirms equipment is operational, if applicable.
  • Provides consultation and advice to internal and external customers. Reviews existing processes, recommends improvements and may assist with implementation. Participates in and may serves as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects. May assist in training and onboarding of new hires.
  • Reviews transactions and related documents and verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures. May review reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality and ensure compliance. May participate in risk mitigation activities.
