Keene State College invites applications for a Registrar to provide strategic leadership to plan, organize, and manage all activities related to undergraduate student records compilation and maintenance in compliance with federal regulations, state law, and accrediting agencies requirements. Reporting to the Associate Provost, the Registrar will also provide effective leadership and supervision of staff and is committed to providing all constituents an inviting, supportive college experience consistent with Keene State College’s mission. As a member of the Academic Affairs leadership team, the Registrar collaborates with various departments and Administration in implementing academic policy to ensure that all processes relating to the matriculation and graduation of both undergraduate and graduate students are administratively sound and operationally efficient. Additional responsibilities: course registration, final exam scheduling, add/drop, degree audits, catalog development, supervision and directing work of staff, facilitate training as needs emerge, provide on-going feedback, and conduct staff evaluation; budget management; develop reports, analyze data for purposes of enrollment management, course scheduling, and classroom use optimization and to facilitate understanding of curricular trends; consultation and collaboration with other offices; manage and update the information system relative to course scheduling, registration, program evaluation, records, and Student Information Systems (SIS); and serve as a member or leader of committees. Master’s degree and four years of experience in registration services with a successful track record of progressive responsibility; demonstrated experience integrating processes, curriculum management, catalog preparation, scheduling and registration, and FERPA; demonstrated proficiency with computer applications including Word, Excel as well as student information databases; strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; exemplary attention to detail; supervisory experience; proven collaboration experience; the ability to establish and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students and administrative leaders across campus with a high level of reliability.
