Within USC, the Office of the Provost provides academic leadership to the University and oversees all academic programs and support functions, including USCâ??s twenty-two schools and academic units, research, faculty affairs, student affairs, academic planning, museums and galleries, global initiatives, religious life, campus wellness, and much more. About Our Team Provost Talent Acquisition is a part of the Provost Human Resources team in the Office of the Provost at USC. We support a range of high profile client groups that collaborate with the Provost.  We provide recruitment services designed to attract the best talent from across the country.  Services includes recruitment strategy design, strategic sourcing, posting positions in multiple mediums, a structured interview process, comprehensive offer analysis and more.  Our recruiters are positioned to be true partners and consultants to the business.  Our organization fills faculty, staff, fixed term, resource and temporary positions.  While we are based out of the Office of the Provost, our team participates in key strategic initiatives that have an impact across the entire University. We support key stakeholders and clients across our campuses on projects large and small. Preferred Qualifications Masterâ??s Degree in business, psychology, human resources, communications or other. Seven years of experience in higher education, recruiting staff, researchers, and/or faculty. Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CIPD, CPLP, CPTD, SHRM, PHR/SPHR) Excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish strong and positive working relationships and rapport with diverse groups Experience championing diversity and inclusion initiatives and strategies Experience championing employer brands Minimum Education:Bachelor's degreeCombined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience:5 yearsMinimum Field of Expertise:Five yearsâ?? experience in human resources, talent acquisition, sourcing and/or recruitment. Proven track record of sourcing, engaging and recruiting top talent. Proven knowledge of labor markets, recruiting practices and effective social media recruitment tools. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and frequent interruptions. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with demonstrated ability to positively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders, and understand the needs of all. Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information. Exceptional analytical and collaboration skills, able to think strategically and creatively independently and as part of a team. Ability to contribute to concurrent projects, working proactively, prioritizing competing assignments, and effectively managing workloads effectively. Microsoft Office proficiency, and experience with HR software/applications (e.g., Workday) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
