Digital Production Specialist University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: 33681 Salary: $4,009 - $7,925 monthly Position Description: The UCLA Alumni Affairs Marketing team's primary goal is to engage alumni, parents and friends with UCLA. The marketing team supports Alumni Affairs programs, events and initiatives, serving the greater UCLA community by utilizing all available promotional channels, both print and digital, to disperse the news. The Digital Production Specialist will help in the design and production of a large volume of email publications as well as the maintenance and enhancement of the UCLA Alumni website. The Digital Production Specialist will also design and produce some print materials as needed. This individual will design, build, route, revise, finalize and deploy HTML emails based on existing templates; update website content and create new pages and micro-sites; and collaborate as needed with a team of front-end/back-end developers and writers. The Digital Production Specialist will be proficient in all rules of written communications; grammar, punctuation, spelling as the final reviewer of communications created by staff. In all web and email projects, the Digital Production Specialist will strive to meet the organizational objectives in accordance with web usability standards and the overarching brand of UCLA and will have a strong understanding of brand standards and their implementation. This individual must have solid experience in digital production and design and must be an advocate for user experiences, a quick learner and a team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced, result-driven environment. In addition, projects of the Digital Production Specialist will be focused on accessibility for a broad user base and will continue to improve the way the marketing team communicates to their constituents.
