Senior Financial Analyst, Ambulatory Care | Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center - Military Veterans

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our Ambulatory Care Division . You will: Provide high level support of the financial management and reporting of the division, including: preparation and monitoring of operating/capital budgets, analyzing and reporting financial information, and financial decisions for initiatives, policies and procedures. Work on large projects that are visible and complex. Identify, summarize and report on financial trends that impact the division. Collaborate with senior management on budget variances, financial planning and forecasting. Provide in-depth financial analysis as needed for new program development and strategic planning. You need: A Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration. At least 3 to 4 years of related financial management or budget experience, preferably in a hospital setting. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, applicants with 8 years of relevant experience can be considered. Healthcare finance experience strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge spreadsheets and database applications, such as Excel, Access and Tableau. Ability to use and create Advanced Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables is preferred. Cognos reporting experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations, lead teams, prepare reports etc. Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills to effectively participate in problem identification and resolution. Advanced budget preparation and budget analysis skills needed to ensure comprehensive management of divisional budgets, expenditure and related activity. Excellent project management skills.
