MTC Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Position Summary:
The Test Engineer is responsible for functional verification of embedded software for servo drives. Work assignments include test requirements analysis, design, and implementation of test cases using PLC and Python programming languages. The Test Engineer works together with new product development teams using Agile methodologies to deliver functional tests executed in a CI/CD environment as a part of the product verification process. This role requires strong communications skills and the ability to work effectively in large project teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• At least 2 years of proven experience with PLC programming using LD, SFC or ST language
• Python programming experience
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Very good command of English
Desired Qualifications:
• General understanding of 230-480VAC industrial power conversion equipment
• Experience with motion control systems and/or industrial automation products and environments
• Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment and tools like TeamCity or Jenkins
• Experience as a test engineer in agile development team

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$81,000.00 - $99,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
