Corporate Functions – Marketing + CommunicationsAs part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

YOUR ROLE: Senior Manager - CEO Communications We are seeking an experienced Communications professional to join our CEO Communications team.

The senior manager, CEO Communications, will support the strategy and execution of communications for Accenture’s global CEO, Julie Sweet, as our company’s lead spokesperson and storyteller. This role will help us measurably increase the reach, influence, and impact of the Accenture brand.

He/she/they will develop and lead external and internal communications plans for our CEO that brings to life Accenture’s purpose to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity every day. The role focuses on strategic messaging, strategic planning, and creating memorable content, including speeches, presentations, employee communications, talking points, backgrounders, op-eds and thought leadership pieces, as well as correspondence with key stakeholders and other written materials.

As part of the CEO communications team, he/she/they will work with a diverse team of innovative communication experts who develop integrated CEO communication strategies and thought leadership narratives. More broadly, this role is part of Accenture’s Marketing + Communications team, which supports our strategy, enhances our long-term relationships, inspires our candidates and our nearly 537,000 people around the world and helps drive profitable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated communications professional with experience across media relations, social media, marketing, brand, financial communications, people communications, government relations. Experience in journalism is also highly valued.

He/she/they will be detail-oriented and a proactive team player and will possess exemplary judgment, impeccable writing and storytelling capabilities.Role Responsibilities:

+ Think strategically and execute flawlessly on multiple and simultaneous CEO communication commitments – including internal and external engagements for diverse audiences such as investors, media, policy makers, industry partners, and particularly Accenture’s nearly 537,000 people and clients across more than 40 industries and 120 countries.

+ Support the CEO communications team and partner with marketing and brand, corporate communications, investor relations, government relations, client account teams, and others.

+ Be an outstanding writer with a proven ability to clearly and crisply capture the personality/voice, vision, and priorities of the CEO on a wide range of topics.

+ Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders from start to finish and demonstrating operational excellence, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration.

+ Research, develop, write and edit a wide variety of materials for Accenture’s Global CEO, including quotes, video scripts, speeches, talking points, backgrounders, narratives, and op-eds and thought leadership pieces, as well as correspondence with key stakeholders and other written materials.

+ Interact frequently with senior leaders across Accenture to remain current on the company’s strategy, growth priorities, research, and client services.

+ Demonstrate a keen understanding of technology, particularly digital, cloud and security, as well as inclusion and diversity and sustainability.

+ Innovate by bringing new ideas, new best practices, and new technologies to communications.

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelors degree or equivalent

+ Minimum of 10 years of marketing and communications experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in a large global enterprise strongly preferred

+ Experience in analyzing, developing and communicating complex information, as well as developing compelling external messages.

Professional Skills

+ Track record of progressive leadership and results across multiple, integrated communication disciplines, including in-depth knowledge of earned, paid, owned and shared media.

+ Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills – ability to produce compelling CEO content, including quotes, video scripts, speeches, talking points, backgrounders, narratives, and op-eds and thought leadership pieces, as well as correspondence with key stakeholders and other written materials.

+ Strong organizational skills with ability to successfully manage multiple assignments simultaneously – and at speed – while collaborating with multiple teams and partners across functional and geographic groups.

+ Ability to work independently and with an entrepreneurial spirit.

+ Demonstrated leadership in a professional setting; either military or civilian.

+ Strong strategic, analytical thinking skills, with demonstrated excellence in creating and articulating ideas.

+ Understanding of emerging technologies and communication best practices and has a passion for exploring new methods of communicating.

+ Ability to work well under pressure as this role must deliver high-quality communications under tight deadlines.

+ Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

+ Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
