**Description:** Lockheed Martin is seeking an On\-Site Production Design and MRB Engineer at our facility in Troy, AL \(Pike County Operations\)\.

Candidate must meet LRASM Quality standards for MRB authority and have a good understanding of engineering design, materials, composites and sub\-system flight hardware\.

Candidate must be willing to provide support to production shift\(s\)\. Typical workdays are Monday through Thursday from 6:30AM\-5:00PM\.

Work with Engineering Lead to assist in engineering dispositions for discrepancies determined to be defects in a fast\-paced production environment and provide engineering documentation\.

Work closely with Engineering to support all program objectives\.

Travel may be required on an as needed basis\.


Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

U\.S\. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Interim Secret clearance to start\.

Ability to review and understand engineering, specifications and drawings, identify and evaluate hardware discrepancies, failures, and provide sound engineering dispositions for those items determined to be defects and provide repair dispositions\.

Knowledge of GD&T

Mechanical/Aerospace Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 2 years of professional experience, minimum or equivalent experience/combined education\.

**Desired Skills:**

Active DoD Secret clearance\.

Good working knowledge of CATIA v5 and Windchill\.

Previous experience with complex missile system production, testing, composites, antenna or radar cross section measurement, and missiles\.

Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field\. General knowledge of other related disciplines\.

Candidate will support new and development activities and missile work\.

Good communications skills and hands\-on experience required\.

Frequent inter\-organizational and outside customer contacts\. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects\.

Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience\.

Good knowledge of all aspects of engineering is essential\.

Previous MRB experience a plus\.
