Job Description:

Parsons is seeking highly motivated, self-starting individual to join our team of computational scientists in key areas of support for the Army Research Laboratory and Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP).  Our team provides technical expertise in HPC that can be applied to a diverse range of scientific disciplines to include machine learning and data analytics. .  If you are passionate about research and high performance computing, this is your chance to join in Parsons' team.

Duties may include the following;

  • Port, benchmark, profile and scale codes on HPC platforms
  • Investigate new technologies and novel approaches to meet evolving research objectives
  • Support on-going research projects through the use of HPC in machine learning and data analytic applications
  • Prepare and present results

Technical Skills should include the following:

  • Expertise with multiple common scientific computing programming languages and programming models.
  • Expertise with computing programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python)
  • Experience with containers, data analysis and machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and pandas. 
  • Experience with Linux on large scale systems.
  • Knowledge of HPC and parallel programming techniques such as MPI, OpenMP.
  • Experience with code development on clustered computing systems including clustered and parallel file systems
  • CPU and hybrid CPU/GPGPU experience desirable
  • Must be a US citizen and be eligible for a DoD clearance
  • Active DoD Secret clearance preferred

The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $90,000.00.
