Position Summary The Sharma Lab within the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic laboratory research technician (Technician B) to join our group. The Technician B will provide research support that is focused on the analysis of the neural circuits underlying somatosensation. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist lab members with research activities including laboratory-based research, activities related to histological and immunohistochemically analyses, lab safety and compliance, and general running of the laboratory. Conduct experiments according to written directions, assisting in collecting samples and preparing lab solutions and/or cultures, maintaining lab notebooks and records related to the work. Provide support for studies related to the neurobiology of touch using mouse models. Assist in lab management with supervision. Minimum Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or physics or a completed animal husbandry program or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
