The Position
The ICS Third Party Assessments and Commitments (TPAC) team currently has a great opportunity for an individual with experience conducting information security third party evaluations.
The role is responsible for independent and proactive analysis of TPAC’s information security programs by conducting analysis of outcomes of risk assessments on third parties conducting business with Wells Fargo. This role will report to the Post-Contract Assessment Manager.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and managing risks, analysis of the effectiveness and completeness of security controls, and partnering with teams across the company to optimize our security posture.
  • Demonstrating an advanced understanding of information security controls related to third party information security risk management. 
  • Identifying and evaluating third party information security risks, controls which mitigate risks, and identifying opportunities for control improvement.
  • Assisting in consulting, establishing, and updating the third party information security policies and procedures


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of information security experience
  • 3+ years of Information Security Frameworks and standards (FFIEC, NIST, ISO) experience
  • 3+ years of third party risk management experience
  • 7+ years of technology experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to produce high level summary analysis reports in a meaningful and understandable format
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security management, audit, compliance, and risk
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security policies, creation, interpretation, or enforcement
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
