**Description:** Subsequent effort will focus on Hardware\-In\-the\-Loop \(HWIL\) integration through prototype design, assembly, integration, checkout and demonstration of Ground Test Missile software and hardware, connections, test and analysis equipment and the integration of stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility\. The system engineer will support the integration team in debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Must currently posses a Secret security clearance\.

• MATLAB and C/C\+\+ programming\.

• Hands\-on hardware integration experience\.

**Desired Skills:**

• Strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformation\.

Experience with the following:

• Missile system design\.

• Performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and Hardware\-In\-The\-Loop \(HWIL\) design and simulation analysis\.

• Developing and analyzing guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms\.

• Designing target tracking systems which generally include target state estimation and target/detection association\.

• Optimal state estimation filters such as KALMAN and Extended KALMAN filter \(EKF\)\.

• Performing design and analyses of terrestrial navigation and navigation state error estimation\.

• Operational flight program \(OFP\) with integrated high fidelity 6DOF simulations\.

• Supporting preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses\.
