Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Full Time Work Assistant for the Exposure Science and Epidemiology Division within the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute ( EOHSI ). Under the supervision of the Medical Case Manager, the Work Assistant supports administrative operations for the federally funded World Trade Center Health Program at Rutgers. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assists Medical Case Management Team in coordinating patient care for World Trade Center Health Program members. Assists in the coordination of patient Medical Case Management including referrals, records requests, letters and mailings. Aids in processing record releases and clinical records management. Conducts needed data entry for the department. Aids in audit initiatives, under supervision. Keeps staff personnel informed of activities and progress of work assignments. Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree. One (1) year of administrative experience working with billing and/or coding. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year for year basis. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be proficient in computer applications as required by the department. Salary: $20.00/hr. Posting Number: 21ST1452 Location: Piscataway (RBHS)
