Position Summary:

Provide Project Officer support to a Program Office with the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).

Job Duties:

The ideal candidate has experience with and is proficient at working with Army civilians and military of all ranks, has the demeanor and experience to politely push task accomplishment along with others in a team building, positive, non-confrontational manner, and is organized and capable of tracking multiple projects to their deadlines with reminders to others what they have due.

The ideal candidate is skilled in oral and written communications, as well as the Microsoft Office suite to include PowerPoint. Experience with military protocol - understanding military hierarchy and how official events are managed - would be valued. Experience managing events ranging from conference calls, personal and virtual meetings, training events, all the way to managing 200+ person industry days would be highly valued.

This position manages tasks coming in from multiple sources, determine the business group that should respond, route for completion and then approval, while ensuring deadlines are met. Qualifications:

Bachelors degree  plus 3-5 years

The candidate must be able to obtain and hold a SECRET clearance.
