Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Project Manager in support of weapon system-based training. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Support Systems Team (SST).
Provide project knowledge management support to SST Operations and Planning for program design, development, and delivery of training devices, simulators, courseware, and support equipment.
Work effectively across the organization with stakeholders, change management, functional support, and SMEs to develop and support new and existing products, features, and services.

What You'll Get To Do:
• Define Knowledge Management Strategy for our knowledge base and maintain high quality, updated and searchable content for audiences of varying skill level.
• Support and evaluate the knowledge management elements necessary for the team, including people, process, content/IT, and execution plans.
• Support the definition and maintenance of processes to manage and measure knowledge flows within the SST and to other teams.
• Prepare project execution plans and identification of appropriate business resources required.
• Support development and delivery of metrics, data, and information within the team and to customers, management, and other project stakeholders as required
• Refine project task success criteria and monitor progress.
• Provide positive influence with respect to action and accountability for project assigned roles.
• Evaluate effectiveness of daily actions and systems; troubleshoot any potential and/or existing problems; work with appropriate individuals to put solutions into action.

Supplemental Responsibilities may include:
• Support enforcement of quality and performance management and reporting actions related to SST responsibility including the incorporation and execution of best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Support development and implementation of innovative business support, partnering, and proactive planning and execution processes.
• Support the resolution of inter- and intra-organizational challenges in major areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business management or related technical field with 6 years of related experience, or 4 years of experience with a Master's
Professional project management with specific experience in Federal and/or Defense contracting.
Active Secret clearance
Have or be able to obtain Agile or Scrum skills or certification.
Previous experience on knowledge / data management to include creating, sharing, structuring, and auditing knowledge to optimize organizational effectiveness and collective knowledge.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor's degree in business management or related field with 10 years of related experience, or 8 years of experience with a Master's
Experience and/or familiarity with the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program
