Specific tasks within the focus on Missile Defense System EW include:

\- Conduct analysis of and develop strategies for implementing, and develop requirements for electronic protections for the missile defense system

\- Perform simulation based end\-to\-end behavior and performance analysis of the Ballistic Missile Defense System \(BMDS\) utilizing large\-scale complex BMDS Modeling and Simulation \(M&S\) tools, including developed models

\- Conduct performance analyses, support trade studies, and develop requirements for the Missile Defense Agency \(MDA\)

\- Document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to the Missile Defense National Team \(MDNT\) and MDA representatives

\- Coordinate analysis activities and products with functional group leads, senior management, and government personnel

**Basic Qualifications:**

\*To be considered for this position, Secret DoD Security clearance \(with most recent investigation within 5\.5 years or less\) with the ability to receive a TS\*

\- Electronic warfare experience

\- Strong technical background in engineering, mathematics, or scientific discipline

\- Knowledge of radar sensing physics and signal processing techniques

\- Ability and willingness to learn new physical and mathematical concepts

\- Good written and verbal skills and comfortable working independently to develop and achieve customer goals

\- Must be comfortable working independently and also leading technical teams

**Desired Skills:**

\- Modeling and analysis experience in key elements of the Missile Defense System \(e\.g\., Aegis Weapons Systems, Ground\-based Midcourse Defense \(GMD\), Fire Control \(FOM, GFC\), C2BMC, BMDS sensors \(EO/IR/RF\), kill vehicles, interceptors, countermeasures, counter\-countermeasures, or threats\)

\- Experience with radar scheduling, signal processing, tracking, discrimination, and/or electronic warfare

\- Experience with MATLAB programming for conducting analysis and describing complex phenomenon

\- Experience developing MATLAB code as part of development team and with configuration management software such as SVN or Git

\- Basic understanding of performance parameters, technical performance measures, methods and techniques definition, sensors, missiles, interceptors, detection/tracking, or Command and Control \(e\.g\., C3I, C4I, etc\.\)

\- Knowledge of ballistic and advanced threat systems \(e\.g\., aero\-maneuvering, hypersonic, hyper\-glide, countermeasures, etc\.\)

\- Demonstrated team leadership experience

\- Master's or PhD in EW related discipline

\- Active DoD Top Secret Security clearance
