Overview

Job Summary: Performs all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services, including two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

 

Required Education: Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years

 

Required License: Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; or be registry eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment. BCLS (Adult).

 

Preferred License: ACLS (Adult)

 

Required Experience: 2 years practicing as a sonographer; will accept new graduate applications

 

Preferred Experience: 5 years practicing as a sonographer

 

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Days, Rotating Weekends, Call
