Position Summary

The EHR Clinical Supervisor is part of the facility informatics leadership resource team that is responsible for delivering the successful implementation and utilization of advanced clinicals.  Additionally responsible for helping to ensuring compliance with all Meaningful Use metrics.  They are responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments and assisting with the development of education/training materials.  This individual participates in the facility-wide community for computerized provider order entry (CPOE), and works with the Director of Clinical Applications to ensure advanced computer clinical applications and Meaningful Use programs are well supported throughout the facility. This individual is accountable for and has the authority to make decisions to promote quality integrations of systems on a unit basis. They are expected to interpret and apply hospital policies and procedures, regulatory requirements as well as Standards of Care in the provision and supervision of patient care. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Nursing, graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing required or other allied health profession.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 months or more CPOE nursing informatics or equivalent experience required with CPOE Train –the –Trainer level knowledge / expertise-preferred.

LICENSE:

  • Current Nevada license to practice Nursing required. Independently maintains license.  Acquires required contact hours to maintain practice or allied health license.
