Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Configuration Analyst. This position will be located at Offutt AFB, NE and will support the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program.

What you’ll get to do:

- As a Configuration Analyst, you will edit technical documents such as Technical Orders (T.O.s/TCTOs), technical manuals, user manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications t o communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to SACCS related audiences.

- Provide guidance to SACCS community on communications maintenance and logistical issues.

- Provide government-approved maintenance and operations training, or other SACCS-unique courses (as directed), to Government personnel at locations and times specified by the Government.

- Develop technical manual and training curriculum to be employed during SACCS training courses.

- Evaluate curriculum materials based on trainee feedback and instructor input.

- Review SACCS network design and training effectiveness to provide maximum proficiency.

- Coordinate meetings and working groups with engineering support and SMEs to develop new, and expand already designed training curriculum.

- Conduct quality review of materials.

- Assist in System Engineering type functions as directed.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This opportunity will be filled at level 2 or level 3.

You’ll bring these qualifications for level 2:

- 3 years Strategic Automated Command Control System(SACCS) experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 1 year with a Master. 5 years of relevant SACCS experience may be used in lieu of education.

- Demonstrated experience with conducting briefings and/or presentations. - Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport for any required business travel.

- Must have an active Secret DoD security clearance and be able to acquire a Top Secret DoD security clearance.

You’ll bring these qualifications for level 3:

- 6 years SACCS experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 3 years with Masters. 5 years relevant SACCS experience may be used in lieu of education.

- Demonstrated experience with conducting briefings and/or presentations. - Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport for any required business travel.

- Must have an active Secret DoD security clearance and be able to acquire a Top Secret DoD security clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

- Experience in Air Force Communications Electronics maintenance.

Experience with Quality Assurance or experience performing quality reviews of technical publications or training documents, preferred.

- Experience with SACCS operations, maintenance, and logistics

- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Suite, and an ability to learn and become proficient with related software used for training development, project tracking, and presentations.

- Demonstrated experience with research engineering data, technical manuals and utilize subject matter experts, team members, and established processes to complete complex training materials, schedules, and related projects under very general supervision.

- Demonstrated experience with technical writing, and training development
