The Global Product Manager for Tools (Software) will be defining the next generation of tools used with our building automation systems. We will be creating SaaS and cloud based tools offerings revitalizing our entire software tools portfolio with cutting edge technology. The role will be responsible for leading, managing and directing all of the offering management related activities within their product line. At Honeywell, the product manager owns a product line end-to-end and is accountable for product profitability (P&L). The successful candidate will: Establish/formalize partnerships and other inorganic strategies. Drive efficient development of high value, differentiated offerings between Honeywell and partners. Execute strategies to win in the marketplace and create new growth for Honeywell. Combine a sound business background with exceptional analytical, entrepreneurial, and strategic skills.

The Product Manager for Tools (Software) will have a passion for our markets and products, and an ability to communicate with technical professionals and work closely with customers, manufacturing and sourcing, engineering and R&D, internal senior executives, Field Sales organization, key business partners and the senior management team to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organizations product portfolio today and in the future. Bottom line, you own the product plans, strategy and profitability.

  • Analytical Thinking and Decision-Making: A conceptualizer of enterprise and market trends/issues who can then integrate that thinking into marketing and business strategies. Decisive and logical at thoroughly evaluating issues. Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills.
  • Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: A team player and builder, receptive to ideas from others. Shares information and keeps team members and partners informed. Works effectively with others to identify and resolve issues. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as a diverse work force.
  • Ethics: Highest level of professional integrity and honesty as well as personal


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 plus years of experience of demonstrated success leading offering/product management, strategic planning, product marketing, and product design.
  • 5 plus years of experience with software, and software configuration tools.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • An MBA is highly desirable (top-tier school preferred).
  • Experience with Control Logic, Device Provisioning, or Building Automation is strongly preferred
