Essential Functions:
• Respond to user requests for instruction, assistance, error recovery, configuration, and modifications for the MSS environment.
• Evaluate, dispatch, and fulfill security requests for the MSS environment according to Parker separation of duties requirements.
• Prepare specifications, project plans, testing plans, and user training materials for enhancements to our business systems.
• Interface with programmers as required to accomplish business systems modifications and enhancements.
• Work with corporate enterprise managers to clarify, debug, enhance, and test MSS functionality.
• Work with the MSS HPT and the local business management team to clarify, simplify, and unify business processes across divisions.
• Work with Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Operations, Shipping/receiving and Accounting to support projects, information requirements, and corporate mandated initiatives regarding our business systems environment.
• Work with users, corporate enterprise managers, and peers at other divisions to implement, update, and support transactional business systems. This spans all functions in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Monitor and test load programs to data warehouse and analytic software.
• Work with business systems users to test all new functionality, bring feedback to programming, and manage all aspects of change.
• Work with the customer service organization to facilitate adding new EDI customers, including setup, testing and instruction as required.
• Develop functional requirements with users, write detailed specifications, work with programmers, and test new PC-based applications.


• Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with users, programmers, and IT product managers to accomplish business objectives.
• Ability to communicate in writing (responding to user issues, writing specifications and plans, and creating documentation and training aids)
• Ability to understand, support, and improve workflows in the entire quote to invoicing cycle in a make-to-order manufacturing environment.
• Experience with data analytics, data warehouses, SQL databases, programming languages, and agile methodology.
• Experience with security administration, Sarbanes requirements, and IT auditing.
• Experience working with users to support a large ERP installation, from day to day support to implementation of new modules.
• Implementation or conversion experience with a major ERP system.
• Must be a US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status.
