Job Description

As a Social Media Specialist , you will be reviewing social media posts for potential engagement and support, and gathering data for Social Listening purposes. Due to the incubative nature of the project, your work tasks may vary greatly from one workflow to another based on client needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:   

+ Engaging with users on social media

+ Escalating sensitive issues and triage to other teams when appropriate

+ Serve as the voice of our client online / on social media

+ Respond to public user inquiries with high quality, speed, empathy, and accuracy

+ Understand and remain up to date with client policies and guidelines; resolve inquires according to defined policies and procedures

+ Fulfill base productivity and quality requirements 

Basic Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

+ Minimum of 1 year customer service experience

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a social media related role

Preferred Skills

+ Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and interpersonal skills

+ Passion for ensuring a world class user support experience

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

+ Strong attention to detail, results-oriented, self-directed, and inquisitive

+ Highly skilled in social voice, communications and engagement

+ Understanding of, and passion for Internet culture

+ Expertise in the social space (trends, influencers, engagement, things to be cautious of, etc.)

+ Background in writing for customer support, technical, and social media scenarios

+ Experience writing both proactive and reactive communications for a brand on social media

+ Experience working in a role with high public visibility to your writing

+ Ability to translate highly technical language into messaging that is user-friendly and easy to comprehend, while also abiding by platform character limits.

+ Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills Unless expressly indicated, this role is not open in the state of Colorado.
