The Pipeline Coordinator will oversee the maintenance and scheduling of all pipeline orders. This role is an extension of the Midstream marketing departments, providing support and removing obstacles (i.e. delivery and/or fulfillment delays to our end customer -order issues with respective pipeline companies, mitigating and correcting any errors or issues). The pipeline coordinator will also work closely with and provide information to the Asset Optimization Coordinator for the optimization of pipeline logistics.

  • Ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to summarize detail and present at a high level
  • Working knowledge of Supply and Midstream strategies to be able to contribute balanced input to competing departmental priorities
  • Ability to react quickly to seasonal allocations and unforeseen operational difficulties to balance the needs of supply and demand with available capacities
  • Ability to manage and maintain timely and effective pipeline movements
  • Situational awareness and business acumen; Obtains the ability to identify and analyze issues and make recommendation toward solution and overall strategy
  • RightAngle (or similar ETRM) application experience, preferred
  • When resolution cannot be reached at the local level, this individual must obtain the ability to present solution oriented proposals to executive leadership for review and consideration

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and provide support to Midstream sales and operations teams
  • Monitor pipeline demand and fulfillment to ensure timely delivery
  • Working with third-party electronic system (Estream, T4, and Focus), to access demand and movement data
  • Manually create, schedule and update pipeline orders in RightAngle (i.e. revised ETAs and volumes)
  • Communicate with pipelines to troubleshoot and solve issues with orders
  • Troubleshoot unmatched pipeline movement documents
  • Pipeline reporting and dashboards maintenance
  • Analyze performance against pipeline contracts
  • Coordinate with Midstream, Supply and Logistics to provide input for pipeline optimization
  • Maintain and grow relationships with external pipeline contacts
  • Deep understanding of pipeline supply chain and movement process in order to minimize cost and fulfill demand

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to propose well-rounded solutions in a diplomatic manner to various members of executive leadership.
  • Ability to search for, retrieve and update pipeline orders in RightAngle
  • Effective communication with external resources
  • Demonstrated experience with scheduling and management of pipeline movements

Education and Experience Required:
  • High school diploma required;
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of industry experience preferred
