he Manager, Order Management ( will be responsible for driving all business operational support for Homedepot.com's order fulfillment processes. The manager will be responsible for working with many cross-functional business areas and product teams to define opportunities and challenges, design and implement appropriate response plans (including monitoring, processes to address, and appropriate leadership communications), determine business impacts and potential values, and partner with product managers to define long term solutions.  In addition this position will be responsible for leading the team through major event support ensuring order management processes are adequately prepared and execution plans are in place.  Lastly, responsibilities of this position include managing a team of business analysts.  The Manager will be responsible for supporting and leading the team, setting clear expectations, performance management, and growing these associates. 

The candidate must have proven analytical capabilities, strong and proven leadership skills, an ability to thrive in a highly cross-functional and relationship oriented role, and deep experience in understanding systems, end to end system flows, and bridging technology solutions with business impacts and value.  Finally, the Manager, Order Management should be passionate about the customer and the E-commerce industry and must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -

  • 50% Develop and execute operational processes and partner with the Reliability Engineering team
  • 25% Support and manage the Order Management business team of Associates
  • 15% Major event support and preparation
  • 10% Apply a thorough understanding of the E-commerce industry, its seasonality and global business trends/events. Continually monitor competitor/industry evolutions

NATURE AND SCOPE -

  • Position reports to Sr. Manager, Order Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Must pass the Drug Test.
  • Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.

EDUCATION REQUIRED - 
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
  • On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles
