Title- Sr Manager- Digital Sales

Location- Mumbai

What you will do

Responsible for the development and implementation of sales plan through acquiring new clients and maintaining existing client to achieve business sales target of the department with focus on achieving customer satisfaction in IoT and Platform Business

  • Driving new business and market expansion, find and develop new accounts in the field of Digital Solutions, IoT platforms and cloud solutions
  • Define Johnson Controls Digital Solutions value proposition, technologies and services and position them to stakeholders in the context of smart buildings
  • You are responsible to manage the entire sales process of OpenBlue digital solution suite of offerings
  • Responsible and engage stakeholders for defining, deploying, and managing targeted sales and qualification process to select the enterprise customers most ready for cloud-powered smart building technologies and solutions
  • Conduct workshops with customers on-site to gather and document "as is" and "to be" business process and solution requirements
  • Build unique value proposition that generate cross-sell/upsell opportunities across traditional building technologies and solutions
  • Enquiry Generation & visiting potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Achieve secured & revenue target set by the company.
  • Management of existing Clients/ accounts to ensure high level of Customer Satisfaction.
  • Acquiring major accounts to maximize sales

How you will do it

  • Understand and articulate value of Digital Solutions to technical IT audiences which align to the prospect’s strategic business needs, challenges, customer outcomes and goals
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Digital Solutions platform and cloud technologies
  • Build and manage use case catalogue of solutions, offerings and customer outcomes
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive for the creation of repeatable solutions and key technical wins
  • Manage technical level relationships with targeted prospects, customer and partners in alignment regional solution sales teams
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, pre/post sales teams, and education services to cement product success
  • To create & conduct product presentations for the Client
  • Spec-In activity with Consultants
  • Building on existing customer base and acquiring new customers.
  • Regular meeting with the customer to answer their technical queries.
  • Negotiation with clients in regards to terms and conditions and other commercial issues and closure of sales.
  • Ensure collection of payment as per terms & conditions of the order.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.
  • Develop and maintain a computerized customer and prospect database
  • Responsible for executing on various phases of Sales Life Cycle- Lead generation, prospecting, understanding the customer requirement, proposal preparation, presentation
  • Acquiring market and customer information.
  • Discuss & convey the advantages of our product to the customer.
  • Actively participate in the review meeting with the Reporting Manager

What we look for

  • B.E/B. Tech is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with deep understanding of buildings solutions and technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with connected buildings technology solutions and SaaS business models
  • Strong business analysis skills and experience, including development of business vision and strategies, functional decomposition, requirements capture, process modeling
  • Experience of working collaboratively across regional business units and in customer-facing teams
  • Ability to clarify complicated technical concerns to non-technical individuals
  • Understands customer needs to build unique value propositions that generate cross-sell/upsell opportunities
  • Prior experience with Johnson Controls platform/products is a plus
