Program Management Specialist, HR Operations

 

Job Summary

The Program Management Specialist is responsible for collaborating with the Program Managers in the organization and successful management of multiple global programs for Human Resources. This includes developing program and/or project plans, milestone tracking, communication vehicles and presentation material in the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned programs, projects and initiatives.  The Program Management Specialist will also develop and maintain the HR PMO standardized tools, templates and other program or project material.

 

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Collaborates with program leads with the planning and execution throughout the lifecycle of program(s) or projects assigned
  • Develops program and/or plans and schedules that accurately outline of scope, milestones, expected outcomes, structure of team and timelines taking in consideration interdependencies and team requirements
  • Monitors, tracks and reports on program and/or project team performance to TJX stakeholders
  • Identifies and summarizes key points and action items of the program or project during meetings and conversations to support requirements of the program or project
  • Develops communication material and ensures appropriate communication with key stakeholders
  • Conducts the collection, organization and presentation of data and other material
  • In partnership with program leads, conducts risk assessments; identifies risks to management; makes recommendations for problem resolution and mitigation of risk through escalation pathing
  • Prepares budget management, maintenance and financial reporting for programs and projects
  • Participates in the creation and maintenance of the HR PMO tools, standards and methods

 

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields, such as Business Management, Communications, Marketing or similar.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a program or project support role or similar activities
  • Strong written skills
  • Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to balance competing agendas and meet multiple deadlines
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, cross-functional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of Word, Excel and strong ability to prepare effective PowerPoint presentations
  • Aptitude to learn and leverage new systems and skills such as Teams, SharePoint, Visio and more
