RESPONSIBILITIES

Grow SPOT Revenue and margin through a dedicated resource. Focus on customer service and liaise closely to support field staff to drive timely estimation and turnaround of orders from estimation and quote creation to purchase order from the customer.

Support field staff / field service supervisors with proposal generation

  • Obtain parts/sub/special pricing
  • Prepares estimate for approval in CPQ (with required input from field staff)
  • Generate proposal for approval
  • Send proposal to customer (Follow up for feedback and PO)
  • Log and track success

SPOT Turnover and Setup

  • Verify customer information in CPQ/ePSF/FX
  • Generate work order
  • Ensure proper documentation is received, Purchase Order/Signed Document
    Informs field of work order information, verifies schedule for delivery, communicates schedule to customer

SPOT Delivery

  • Orders, receives, and coordinates all material for the job
  • Issues PO’s, mobilizes, schedules subcontractors (w/ input from field)
  • During project, starts the process of ensuring all material/sub/others costs are processing and hit the job prior to closure (Follow up vendors/subs as needed to ensure costs are in)
  • Ensures 100% completion of work in the field with field staff
  • Finalizes work order to include all costs, work description, etc. are in.
  • Completes work order in FX (w/input from field team)
  • Verifies the work order is closed and exported in FX

SPOT Billing

  • For larger or quoted SPOT jobs, sends detailed email to PBSC with specific billing instructions.
  • Monitors billing reports and unbilled items to ensure billing occurs in a timely manner
  • Follows up with customer (when needed) to ensure paperwork/invoice received. 
  • Checks on satisfaction of job as needed.
  • Ensures cash collection and follows up on disputes as needed.

REPORTS FINANCIALS as required.

  • Achieve or exceed spot targets
    Achieve KPI’s to demonstrate timely
                      - estimation to quote submitted to customer
                      - quote submitted to PO received
                      - 100% billing submitted
                      - margin improvement

This role may be subject to ongoing criminal history checks, random drug & alcohol testing and / or medical examinations in line with Honeywell, customer and statutory specifications and it is a requirement of the role to satisfy these requirements.


MUST HAVE

  • Tertiary or technical trade qualifications recommended
  • 3 years’ work experience required
  • Experience of Service & site processes
  • Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills
  • Knowledge of HON systems and processes
