The Engineer will provide leadership in database design, creation, tuning, implementation, and support of multiple Oracle databases for the Commercial Lending & Banking Technology Platform line of business. The Engineer ensures that all required patches are applied in a timely fashion, reviews major database additions or updates from the application team, maintains a disaster recovery environment that meets or exceeds the Recovery Time Objective, creates database backups, and generates clones for the test environments. Candidate must also have very good Siebel administration experience and have an understanding of Siebel architecture concepts.

It is critical this individual be able to act as a liaison in working with management, development, infrastructure and other cross functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions as part of environment management. This role will be responsible for optimizing the storage, performance, and availability of data for OLTP and OLAP systems; developing data architecture and database management policies and standards; serving as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participating in the planning, design, and usage of data resources.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 5+ years of experience in database design and administration
  • 8+ years of Oracle DBA experience
  • 3+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite DBA experience
  • 5+ years of Weblogic experience
  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrating, supporting or development with Oracle Siebel



Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
  • Strong team or technical leadership experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of database administration, design, deployment, configuration, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge and understanding of relational database designing schema, stored procedures, and views for performance with large data sets
  • 3+ years of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) experience
  • 5+ years of Oracle Financials experience



Other Desired Qualifications

• Resource with excellent knowledge in ERP cloning, Apps/database refresh, backup recovery of ERP applications
• 3+ Years of OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) administration experience
• Perform Oracle EBS applications and database administration functions (i.e. patching, monitoring and troubleshooting etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Applications utilities like adpatch, adclone, adrelink, adadmin, adcrtrl, FNDLOAD, fsclone etc
• Experience with Workflow, Workflow Mailer, and the Java Notification Mailer
• Good working knowledge in Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware Applications 12.2.1.3 and above
• Develop and implement the technical procedures, standards and security for Oracle EBS Application databases
• Must have experiences on Oracle Streams & messaging
• Expert in SQL performance analysis and tuning
• Patch, install, upgrade and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3 or higher applications and databases
• Strong technical knowledge of ERP R12 concurrent processing, concurrent managers, AOL objects and System Administration
• Flexibility to work non standard hours & potentially be on call at certain times
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
