STS Technical Services is hiring Compensation Specialists in Atlanta, Georgia.

Position Overview:

  • Develop, maintain and enhance an on-going inventory of reports and dashboards, using a variety of data sources and technologies
  • Support all phases of the HR data reporting lifecycle – including the extracting large datasets through programs and processing queries; interpreting the results using data and statistical analyses; and developing reports and executive-level presentations.
  • Quickly understand business requirements to develop and deploy reports that provide stakeholders with an accurate and precise metrics and business insight.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • The Compensation Specialist assists our client's global compensation team with the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs for management and frontline employees, including reporting and analytics, administering and communicating compensation programs, conducting financial analyses, performing job evaluations, recommending alternatives, benchmarking and responding to salary surveys, and maintaining web-based communication tools.
  • Reports to the Global Manager – Compensation.
  • Develops, prepares and analyzes reports to ensure integrity and accuracy of global pay programs, and assists with compensation program strategy and analytics.
  • Interfaces with HR team members and internal customers to interpret and communicate company policies and procedures and interpretation of compensation guidelines.
  • Analyzes company compensation policies in relation to government wage and hour regulations, prevailing rates for similar jobs in comparable industries or geographic areas and recommends changes as appropriate to establish and maintain competitive rates.
  • Analyzes organizational pay practices and makes recommendations for salary changes to ensure equity.
  • Helps implement special compensation programs or incentive systems for all employees or for specific groups to support the organization's objectives.
  • Works with HR Generalists to ensure accurate job descriptions for positions in organization.
  • Conducts job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy.
  • Assists with review and analysis of external domestic and international compensation trends impacting the airline industry and our client's job classifications.
  • Partners with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Position Qualifications:

  • Must be COVID-19 vaccinated, have 1st COVID-19 vaccination shot or willing to take COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science and MIS).
  • Must possess 5-7 years of similar work experience within human resources, data reporting, or analytics.
  • Advance Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint; Preferred: MS Access experience
  • Helpful: Experience with HR data and systems such as SAP HR or SuccessFactors
  • Experience with creating executive-level reports using PowerPoint and/or data visualization software such as Tableau
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to produce analyses and reports independently
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic and global environment
