I&O Team Lead

This role is the I&O Team Lead for the PepsiCo Chicago Corporate Office and is accountable for all I&O Support at the site. This site is a new modern, agile and highly digital work environment set up with cutting edge technology. This role works directly with SVPs & VPs in this location handling all IT Operational requirements.

This role requires a deep level of technical and digital expertise along with a strong customer service skill set. The individual must be able to balance business requirements with IT standards, acting quickly to maintain the site as well as meet their increasing business demands. This role is both the Face of IT for the Site and the Voice of the Customer within IT. The person needs to be able to navigate PepsiCo business and technology processes effectively and efficiently.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive IT operational excellence across the site
  • Manage site expectations regarding technology and processes
  • Liaison to other IT Teams within CTO and DevOps (e.g. Network, Engineering, etc.)
  • Partner with PepsiCo vendors to maintain the network, storage, and video conferencing equipment
  • Serve as a customer advocate and engage other IT teams managing and/or escalating issues through resolution
  • Establish trust with the customer base and maintain confidentiality
  • Responsible for Operations Support of all IT Hardware / Software at the site
  • Responsible for ensuring hands and feet support at the site for other IT backline teams (e.g. Network, Video, Voice, etc.)
  • Perform testing and implementation of new technology
  • IT Operational Communication and Training with end-users
  • Provide full-service support to executives while in the office as well as after-hours
  • Provide support for executive meetings at site and offsite

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Experience:
  • 6 years IT support experience at a company of similar size and complexity as PepsiCo
  • 4 years of support experience working directly with Executives
  • Proficient with both MS Windows and Apple MAC
  • Experience supporting and communicating IT technology to end-users:
  • Standard and high-end Laptops & Desktops
  • Print
  • Mobile devices (e.g. iPhones and iPads)
  • Productivity applications (e.g. Office 365, Zoom, Teams, OneDrive, Yammer, Video Conferencing, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure to proficiently assist with troubleshooting
  • Executive presence
  • Ability to coordinate and direct activities across multiple teams.
  • Strong team/project management abilities
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal including Technical writing experience
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, effectively multi-task, and make quick & confident decisions
  • Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
