**Description:** Military Space is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to join our Tactical Satellite team\. This effort will be working on the next generation of satellites and technologies with tactical applications supporting our warfighter\. In this role, you are required to be able to clearly communicate ideas and collaborate with multiple teams across LM including other business areas outside the Space Business Area\.

A successful candidate is a multitasker capable of taking on tasking across the satellite’s various subsystems as well as multiple different platforms\. They will need to be capable of working well with others and being able to reach out to others with ease\.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

\- Ensuring business rhythm is established and maintained with stakeholders and end users

\- Coordinates planning, organization, control, execution, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility

\- Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving issues

\- Systems Engineering tasks: Developing interface definitions, requirement development, Size Weight and Power \(SWaP\) trades, Review material development, Conducting next generation technology trades

Candidates will typically have 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree\. Considered an expert, authority in discipline\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

\-Prior Satellite Systems / Space Technology Engineering Experience

\-Ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

\-Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data

**Desired Skills:**

\- Familiarity with authoring whitepapers, developing ROMs, responding to RFPS

\- Familiarity with LM Space processes, procedures, and tools

\- Experience with Agile project management and execution

\- Experience executing projects on schedule and within budget

\- Active TS/SCI security clearance

\- Relevant experience in one of the following areas \(Machine learning, Use of virtual relativity, Digital Twining, additive manufacturing, Model based systems engineering \(MBSE\) , etc\.\)
