Our facility in Littleton, CO has an excellent Program Planning Manager opportunity to work within the Special Programs organization\. Special Programs has an excellent track record of stable programs with highly evolving technical requirements that drives subcontract changes on a regular basis\. We have developed a significant number of future leaders with a wide variety of engagement programs and challenging work to develop individual potential\. In this leadership role you will provide leadership to Program Planners in the preparation/coordination of schedules for new and existing programs\.

**Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will…\.**

• Work with the technical community, operational community and program management to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline

• Develop a compliant Integrated Master Schedule which accurately and comprehensively validates the contractual scope, flow and resources required to execute the program

• Validate cost and schedule integration for effective program performance management

• Manage vertical and horizontal integration between all schedules and other program artifacts compliant with Lockheed Martin's command media

• Interface with program management, senior management and the contractual customer as the programs planning integrator

• Devise modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline

• Perform time\-phased predictive analyses, critical path verification and schedule risk assessments to assure the capability of the program to meet their commitments

• Resolve schedule conflicts, develop, and implement work\-around strategies and tactical alternatives

• Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance

• Provide direction to other program planners, including coaching and talent development, staffing the team, performance reviews, etc\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Must have a Bachelors degree

• 8\-10 years of program planning experience

• Expert knowledge of planning processes and their implementation on programs from a planning perspective or the government Earned Value Management System Interpretation Guidelines \(EVMSIG\) and implementation to include Subcontractor Internal Baseline Reviews \(IBRs\), Baseline Reviews \(BRs\) and/or Joint Surveillance Reviews \(JSRs\) setting expectations and successful implementation\.

• Must have MS Project experience

• Critical Path Analysis capability to review and understand hardware/software and recovery\. This is to include strong analytic skill to develop what\-if analysis being forward focused as well as what\-if’s based on hardware issues to minimize impact to the program and shape the future for current and future builds

• Experience communicating schedules/recovery/metrics to the customer, management and peers

• Must have active TS/SCI clearance

**Desired Skills:**

• 3 years management experience \(prior L\-Code or combination of lead experience\)

• Expert knowledge of Planning processes including Space Program Performance Management Process \(PPMP\) and Program Performance Management Directive \(PPMD\) and their implementation on programs from a planning perspective or the government Earned Value Management System Interpretation Guidelines \(EVMSIG\) and implementation, and to include Subcontractor Internal Baseline Reviews \(IBRs\), Baseline Reviews \(BRs\) and Joint Surveillance Reviews \(JSRs\) setting expectations and successful implementation

• Ability to assess and improve planning tools and processes

• Experience as a Cost Account Manager \(CAM\) or actively managed control accounts

• Knowledge of subcontractor interface/ schedule management

• Knowledge of Special Program line of Business and Planning approach

• Strong communication/presentation skills

• Ability to build effective relationships that foster collaboration among all parties

• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership \- actively engage with employees building their confidence, providing stretch assignments for growth opportunities and lead by example driving accountability and ownership into their daily tasking
