Pharmacy Tech Job Summary:  

  • Supports the Pharmacy department by accurately preparing medications for patient dispensing
  • Maintains appropriate records to assure adherence to regulations
  • Provides accurate financial accountability
  • Provides excellent customer service by helping to maintain an organized and efficient workflow in the pharmacy

Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent  

Required License: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.

Preferred License: Active status as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (as credentialed by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)  

Preferred Experience: 1 year of pharmacy technician experience or completion of an Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology  

 

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift 1:30pm - 10pm. Every third weekend.
