      BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to oversee, track, and reconcile AR balances for Fleet Cards, Credit Cards, Gift Cards and related payment instruments. As well as ensure that proper accounting procedures are created and followed for actions overseen by the Electronic Payments team across the Love’s Family of Companies.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconcile and manage the Electronic Payments Work papers
    • Updating, analyzing, and resolving variances
  • Create and Maintain Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Reports and KPI’s including but not limited to:
    • Quarterly slides
    • Electronic Payments weekly KPI
    • Weekly RFID report
    • Card sales breakdown
    • Fee and Discount Estimate
  • Maintain the Fleet Card and Trillium Deposit Schedules
    • Ensure variances are researched and resolved
  • Point of Contact for yearly external audit for Electronic Payments
  • Assist as needed with Rebate Accounting function
  • Month End Close
    • Position is responsible for all Electronic Payments JE’s
  • Additional items as assigned

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA or candidate preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 3 years accounting related experience.

 

      SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new software applications and computer programs.
    • Experience in credit card and/ or fleet card processing.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Team work and time management skills, and an ability to be detail oriented also required.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
