As a Quality Assurance Analyst within PNC's Tempus Technologies organization, you will be based in Auburn, Indiana or can work remotely.

Participates in code quality assurance. Responsible for manual testing, following test processes and the evolution of test standards. Is a key member of an Agile Scrum team working closely with developers, scrum master & other business stakeholders. This position involves understanding business requirements to create test plans and scripts that intelligently test against business requirements.

Essential Functions:
* Develops and maintains functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases and other test artifacts like test data, and automated scripts that are used throughout the QA cycle
* Responsible for writing and executing manual or automated test cases and audit scripts that validate the functionalities, code quality, and data.
* Starts writing test scripts on day one of the development cycle and reports test results and the end of each run to eliminate artificial wait states and helps in speed to market strategy
* Provides the necessary technical artifacts and assertive test exit criteria
* Isolates, replicates & reports defects, verifies defect fixes, strives to reduce internal defects
* May design, code and execute automated test scripts
* Works closely with development engineering to ensure the end to end validations
* Performs hardware testing on Ingenico devices
* Establishes and creates Test Plans for execution in TestRail and reports status timely
* Facilitates QA Handoff meeting (knowledge transfer from DEV team to QA)
* Owns Release Note content for cards tested
* Collaborates with CSI peers to gather / understand client specific information needed to execute client test scripts
* Actively participate in General Intake calls to report on bug cards. This will include recognition of already existing bugs being reported

  • Generates reports for distribution to various users in the organization, customers, or suppliers.
  • Participates in supplier quality improvement initiatives; works with suppliers to develop and improve incoming quality levels.
  • Conducts quality analysis; identifies systemic issues, facilitates effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Provides conclusions and recommendations for issues and/or continuous improvement projects.
