Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement security guidelines, policies, and exceptions to govern infrastructure administration and management. Develop processes and solutions for managing access.
  • Drive actions based on information security metrics
  •  Innovate and develop security solutions to solve complex problems. Provide advanced technical advice to clients and teams on design, installation and maintenance of information security.
  • Architecting and Engineering of Internet facing network stack applications
  • SME for network security architectures
  • Understanding various vendor solutions that are used to secure various architectures
  • Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for firewalls, IDS/IPS, network behavior analytics, DNS, WAF, DDOS protection, network segmentation and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
  • Setting up Security for AWS/Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including NSG , VNET,VPC ,Flow Logs  ,Guard Duty , Azure Security Center etc.
  • Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
  • Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs.
  • Upgrades security systems by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
  • Prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Analyzing existing network security solutions and recommending solutions, including the design, and configuration of Network  firewalls, IDS/IPS, network behavior analytics, DNS, WAF, DDOS protection, network segmentation
  • Design and develop security architecture for cloud and cloud/hybrid-based systems
  • Continually evaluate new threats in the on-prem and cloud, to identify the impact on IT and Business to develop and implement security controls.
  • Attending weekly stand ups and reviewing/analyzing weekly status reports for actionable items.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 10+  years’ experience managing various network architectures
  • 7+ years’ experience on firewalls and securing Internet facing applications
  • Minimum of 5 years of strong Cybersecurity experience across network & public/private cloud security architecture (firewalls, IDS/IPS, network behavior analytics, DNS, WAF, DDOS protection, network segmentation, etc..)
  • Experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), trends and industry-leading private/public/hybrid cloud vendor offerings and interoperability
  • Strong OS (Windows/Linux) security experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills

Preferred Skills/Certifications:

  • Security Certifications ( CISSP (Is a MUST), Security + or equivalent certifications)
  • Cloud Certifications ( Azure Security, AWS Security or equivalent certifications)
  • Experience with WAF, DDOS, IPS/IDS
  • Experience with Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, F5 Networks, Aruba Network Access Control ClearPass, Network Detection and Response solutions.
  • Experience with Zscaler Private Access, Pulse Secure remote access VPN solutions
  • Information Technology/Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Information Technology/Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP-Security )
  • Experience with Palo Alto Cloud, Twistlock, Redlock and Prisma Access
  • Experience with various endpoint security solutions
  • Automation ( Python, Ansible, SOAR or equivalent skills)
