Honeywell Connected Plant Line of HCE business is leading provider of software offerings in the Process Industry which includes Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Metals, Paper and Pharma industry. The business is focused on outcome-based software solutions and engineering services, converting data into actions for the customer which enables greater reliability, safety and uptime and profitability. These solutions uniquely combine domain expertise and industry proven technology.

 

Goals:

  • Support sales cycle on technical and consulting side, lead big complex deals.
  • Execute site surveys and identify value for Customers, develop concepts and roadmaps for Honeywell offerings implementations.
  • Drive and ensure success of pilots, POCs, POVs.
  • Support proposal team with technical and value offerings.
  • Support Honeywell public events, conferences, workshops and provide technical presentations.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Customer sales and technical presentations of products, projects and submitted proposals, clarification meeting with Q&A.
  • Provide live demo of products/solutions, develop demo script, coordinate demo preparation with operations.
  • Update presentations based on recently published marketing materials, translation verification.
  • Maintain materials database and share latest presentations with Customers/sales.
  • Support the proposal team in the preparation of documentation (estimations, proposals, clarifications, etc.) in response to customer requests and in coordination with the sales, procurement, legal and operations teams.
  • Analyze customer requests for information/quotation and work with sales, operations and other internal teams to propose solutions which best fit the technical and commercial requirements.
  • Identify external content (3rd party) and interact with procurement to obtain technical and commercial offers from external suppliers.
  • Expedite and coordinate responses from product, sales, operations, contracts, procurement, and other teams to complete technical proposals as required.
  • Answer post-offered technical questions / clarifications and update the offer if necessary.
  • Big complex deals strategy definition and execution in coordination with sales, operations and other internal teams.
  • Coordinate internal processes such as Kick-off Meeting, Proposal Review Meeting, Risk and Opportunity review for big complex deals.
  • Technical specification and solution architecture development during sales cycle.
  • Provide site survey and identify gaps, areas of improvements, value proposition.
  • Development and presenting a concept/roadmap of solution/project to be offered to Customers.
  • Lead pilots (POCs/POVs) and ensure goal settings, fast and efficient delivery and goal achievement of the pilots, coordinate sales, product, and operation teams during the pilot.
  • Collect and share with product team a feedback from internal and external users of products.
  • Understand and follow company policies to minimize Honeywell’s exposure to risk and ethics violations.
  • Maintain high level of knowledge of the market, industry, customers, products, solutions, and technology trends.
  • Be a change agent, influence, consult and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes.
  • Provide internal trainings to sales, operations, estimators etc., and external trainings to customers for new products/solutions.
  • Maintain deals database, tasks and action logs, provide valid information on active opportunities by request, provide and support knowledge sharing between sales consultants, sales, operations over the globe.

Experience

  • Strong and experienced consultant is required
  • Development of technical and project documentation is required
  • Large programs for business applications in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochem, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mining industries
  • Large automation projects in production planning, historian, production accounting, dispatch control, tech processes optimization, asset monitoring, quality control, downtime reporting, asset reliability, MES, APC, OTS
  • Site surveys (diagnostics) of technological, IT and business processes, delivering survey reports
  • Project Management experience is a plus
  • Business process modeling skills (Visio/ARIS) is a plus

 

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Master’s is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in MES, APC, OTS solutions
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Honeywell portfolio is a plus
  • Awareness of the unique value proposition of MES, APC, OTS offering is a plus
  • A well-developed sense of the customer’s business and their drivers
  • Knowledge of competitor solutions and their offers
