The Consumer Broadband organization is responsible for planning, optimization, and execution of the $13B P&L for Broadband and Wired Voice products. The Product team is accountable for driving Broadband to net growth through its Fiber portfolio. This position is required to go beyond quarterly net gain and OI tactics to drive long term portfolio success. To attain aggressive growth while also optimizing the P&L, this position is required to create and execute on Fiber penetration strategy, balance net gain with ARPU health, and oversee the end to end capital investment roadmap for Product and channel operations. This position is accountable for achieving EOY 2020 target of ~35% Fiber Pen and 1.1M net adds, sustaining momentum into 2021+ with incremental Fiber build, maximizing build investment return.


What will you do?

This position is responsible for managing the converged fixed wireless broadband product (4G/5G) throughout the product lifecycle, from development to launch execution. The product manager will be required to shape the product launch strategy and create end-to-end project plans for this new product within the broadband portfolio. Responsibilities for this product manager will include a cross-functional strategy to align features, use cases, pricing and marketing plans across the Consumer and Business “mass market” Fiber segments. This product manager will be responsible for ensuring that upcoming fixed wireless product development projects are delivered on time and within budget and will be a main point of contact for Tech Dev and Digital for Broadband development work.


Key areas of responsibility for this position will include:

  • Full ownership of the unified fixed wireless (4G/5G) product roadmap with responsibility for alignment across Product Development, Marketing and TechDev.
  • Drive strategy and lead cross-functional teams in the development and alignment of fixed wireless launch plans to meet our revenue, EBITDA, subscriber and NPS targets.
  • Work product for this role will work regularly with leaders across Finance, Marketing, Acquisition, Retention, Channel Execution, Field, Centers, Digital, Retail, TechDev, Mobility and Legal.
  • Identifying opportunities to represent the voice of the customer through Consumer research and analysis of external trends.
  • Align with product development and Go-to-Market stakeholders to bring the new converged fixed wireless (4G/5G) product to market.
  • Partnership with Product Development and Technology organizations on business cases and requirements for new product launches across Consumer Broadband, connected communities, product marketing and “mass market” Business shared Fiber opportunities.

What you bring:

  • Experience bringing products to market for Consumers and/or Business customers.
  • Experience in Mobility product management is a plus.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the organization (processes, procedures, tools, applications, systems, etc.) coupled with a strong business background in order to fully support the organization.
  • Strong project management, analytics, communication and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Fiber broadband, fixed wireless (4G/5G) and product development & management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing work environment where continuous innovation is desired
  • Ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across business units
  • Experience working cross functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Attention to detail – ability to work with a large amount of content and ability to consolidate, distill and simplify to drive clarity
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-complexity projects"
  • Strong analytical and operational acumen:  Clear understanding of critical KPIs, trend analysis, and ways to drive for the desired improvements.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and deliver end-to-end product/program leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field of study, preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in similar area of responsibility
