Overview

We are looking for a front-end web developer who combines the art of design with the art of programming to join the dbCloudArchive team. We provide a critical service to archive and retrieve records across the Bank. You will play a critical role toward achieving our strategic objectives. You should demonstrate logical thinking, strong analysis, and a keen interest in developing the best UI experience to fulfil the user requirements. You will work within an Agile team contributing to analysis, design, development, testing and implementing new functionality.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Capable of working as part of a delivery team, collaborating with others to understand requirements, analyze and refine stories, design, test, and implement solutions
  • Able to deliver applications and frameworks that are modular, performant, tested, documented and meeting current development best practices
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and ability to follow merge/rebase style development approaches
  • In-depth knowledge of data structures and an understanding of design patterns/programming principles
  • Great at applying engineering principles to solve business problems
  • Able to come up with a stable and working design by asking relevant questions (clarifying assumptions)


Your Skills and Experience:
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/Typescript
  • Proper understanding of AngularJS or React framework and development experience in either is a must; AngularJS is preferable
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Good knowledge of designing REST service and JSON/gRPC Web API contracts
  • Prior experience integrated with Google Cloud a significant advantage
