Job Description:

Bank of America Credit Trading is a fully integrated top ranked platform covering primary and secondary bond markets. Credit traders globally provide customers with liquidity 24/7, combining detailed regional knowledge with the global reach of Bank of America.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for trading and electronification strategy for US Credit Flow businesses
  • Work closely with desk heads, FICC E-Trading group, and other trading personnel within Latam Credit, US Leveraged Loans, US Investment Grade, US High Yield, ETF and US Macro Credit Index to identify and implement technology, regulatory and workflow improvements
  • Deeply involved in e-trading and other business initiatives including CRB (Central Risk Book), e-trading platform management, advanced workflow tools and various consortiums
  • Collaborate closely with technology, quant, investment teams and other groups to help implement and guide business priorities
  • Involved with the Global Credit ESG initiative through close partnerships with sales and trading heads as well as other members of the team
  • Involved with strategic investments/partnership initiatives within Credit
  • Collaborate and coordinate data projects including analytics, weekly reporting, and data validation; help drive business behavioral changes based on data
  • Manage day-to-day relationship management with key existing and emerging e-trading platforms
  • Assist with algo governance and documentation, in coordination with quant and technology teams
  • Aid in firm strategy to respond to regulatory developments; play active role in trade association initiatives as appropriate

Requirements:
  • Strong project management skills, with emphasis on technology and quantitative strength, required for success
  • Deep understanding required of credit products and how they trade (voice, E, market structure etc.)
  • Clear understanding of evolving regulatory and client landscape required
  • 7-10 years min experience
  • Background in sell-side Credit trading/e-trading/sales, or trading venue business management strongly preferred
