Job Summary:
Raytheon Technologies Precision Manufacturing (RPM) is a metal fabrication organization located in Dallas, TX. This Principal Financial Analyst role is a team member of the RPM Finance organization and partners with other functions to achieve RPM financial performance goals. The role involves working with cross functional teams and is responsible for the 3 Year Strategic Plan, the Annual Operating Plan, financial planning, Estimates at Completion (EACs), compliance and Forward Pricing Rates for approximately $150M in annual sales and more than 500 employees. The RPM site has their own Disclosure Statement and rate set. RPM site supports RMD and RIS business units via IOTs. The unique portfolio provides the successful candidate an opportunity to operate in a very dynamic environment as they work with RMD and RIS Finance, RMD Accounting, and all other functional leadership.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting on different types of financial requirements including bookings, sales, direct material, direct labor, operating profit, indirect budgets, and overall rate performance.
  • IOT sales projections & management
  • Responsible for Project set up
  • Supporting and Conducting Variance analysis
  • Preparing EACs and spendplans, and
  • Working with management establishing indirect budgets & base forecasts and other Finance duties required for the RPM site.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor___s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Business Administration or a directly related field and 6 years directly related experience or a directly related Master degree and 4 years of directly related experience
  • Good working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements, and Sarbanes Oxley.

  • Ability to identify cost issues and develop corrective action plans
  • Possess strong problem solving skills with the ability to interpret, explain, and communicate information up and down the chain of command from business analysts to the VP level.
  • Proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Have a good understanding of financial statements and ability to translate, present, and communicate complicated financial information into understandable and executable strategic plans.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good understanding how to develop and track Forward Pricing Rates
  • Experience with production cost, overhead management, and financial planning
  • Extensive SAP (APEX/PRISM) knowledge to be the Finance go to at RPM
  • Experience being a finance lead or managing finance teams
