Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Computer & Cyber Operations Instructor (COO) to join our team in Chantilly, VA

Responsibilities include, but are not limited:

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and staff officers to identify program needs
  • Researches technical materials, and applies technical expertise into training scenarios
  • Develops and presents training programs to customers and in-house employees
  • Assesses student trainees to measure their learning progress and to evaluate effectiveness of course presentations
  • Designs and develops course program elements, modules, and labs
  • Provides guidance and direction to less experienced trainers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
  • 3 or more years of experience with computer programming and scripting languages, information technology security products, and offensive network exploitation
  • Some experience in computer network operations and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts
  • Familiarity with cyber topics such as forensics, vulnerability testing, analysis, or incident response
  • Experience in course development, preparation of materials, lesson plans, conducting lectures and facilitating discussions.
  • Experience in any of these areas: IT networking, mobile and desktop operating systems such as iOS, Android, Windows or Linux.
  • Ability to function in a complex and diverse networking environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferably prior work experience from the Defense Department, Department of Homeland Security, FBI, IC, or academia experience and working with complex cyber challenges.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and a Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
