You Are:

We are seeking a professional to lead the program who is experienced in risk management from supplier source selection through the engagement. This position will be responsible for managing of the Program, developing processes, providing subject matter expertise to acquisition and stakeholder staff on risk topics, assessing regulatory and industry environments and developments, monitoring the existing supplier base, and educating on SCRM topics.

The Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Supply Chain Risk Management ("SCRM") program is responsible for establishing AFS SCRM strategies and processes that best protect AFS related to our supplier base and supply chain, working with AFS stakeholders to identify and assess the inherent risks, and monitoring of ongoing risks.

The Work:

+ Manage AFS’ SCRM Program processes

+ Provide expertise and thought leadership in supply chain risk management and assess the current supply chain program, policies, and procedures against best practices, and make improvement recommendations

+ Provide technical expertise in SCRM to implement, expand, and mature an end-to-end AFS SCRM program

+ Identify acquisition supply chain vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigations

+ Establish data-driven analysis methods, Key Risk Indicators, metrics, and reporting dashboards for monitoring SCRM program effectiveness

+ Develop process for initial risk review assessment based on services and goods to be provided and potential risk areas identified

+ Keep stakeholders informed on best practices and any relevant current Federal Government policies, guidance, memorandums, strategies that might affect the AFS SCRM program

+ Act as subject matter expert to support proposal requirements related to supply chain risk

+ Coordinate cross-organizationally to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, and monitored on an on-going basis

+ Assess new policies and regulatory requirements for impacts and process updates

+ Interface with AFS executive leadership proposing SCRM key initiatives and implementation updates as well as demonstrating SCRM's value to AFS

+ Oversee the documentation and communication of approvals and supplier terminations are according to AFS policies and procedures

+ Manage AFS supply chain risk management framework, including identification and prioritization of all risk factors

+ Support supplier impact analyses and action item plans

+ Address and track reported risk events, potential risk areas, and ensure they are appropriately mitigated

+ Oversee the timely update and maintenance of all supplier information and documentation, process documentation, work instructions and training materials

Here Is What You Need:

+ Bachelors Degree or 5 years of equivalent industry experience

+ Experience in one of the following: third-party risk management, operational or supplier risk with strong understanding of supplier risk management in a commercial or Government contracting company

+ Experience identifying critical suppliers, assessing supply chain threat and vulnerabilities, conducting risk dentification and mitigations, and monitoring mitigation effectiveness over time

+ Knowledge of Federal Government standards

+ Experience in conducting risk assessments during source selection in one of the following: cybersecurity risk assessments, financial risk assessments, compliance risk assessments, or reputational risk assessments

+ Advanced Degree

+ 10+ years of industry experience

+ Strong analytical skills, including business analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to easily manipulate and analyze a broad range of data

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with business partners up to executive level management

+ Strong writing skills

+ Ability to manage issues through to resolution

+ Ability to successfully multi-task and complete difficult assignments within deadlines which may have short lead times

+ Demonstrable professional integrity and a strong work ethic

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality

+ Ability to manage change effectively and frequently

+ Ability to work independently, within a team, as well as collaboratively across teams
