Lead the Manufacturing Systems team within the Manufacturing Technology organization\. Direct the investigation and analyses of production operations problems and collaborate with Aero Information Technology \(IT\) and Production Operations functions to satisfy needs\.

Establish and maintain a Production Operations enterprise architecture roadmap in collaboration with affected functions and lines of business, as well as Aero IT\. Review IT requirements from Production Operations stakeholders and ensure their alignment with the roadmap\. Prioritize Production Operations IT requirements for development by Aero IT and facilitate the allocation of annual IT budget across Production Operations requirements\.

Serve as Production Operations lead for projects including, but not limited to, the following:

\- NextGen MES \(iBASEt MES / Solumina\)

\- StarDrive / 3DX

\- PLM4ADP / Teamcenter

\- Factory of the Future \(FoF\)

\- Integrated Factory Framework \(IFF\)

\- Augmented Reality \(AR\)

\- Model\-based Definition \(MBD\) Consumption

• Responsible for developing and administering project cost, schedule, technical requirements and risk with broad latitude to accomplish organizational objectives\. Direct activities of senior level exempt professionals and subcontracted technical service providers\.

• Conduct regular briefings to executive leadership, customer representatives and industry peers regarding the overall status and direction of Manufacturing Systems activities\.

• Serve as LM Aero’s external\-facing representative to customers, suppliers, academia and LM corporate office for digital manufacturing activities\. Capture CRAD and IRAD funding and direct execution of projects by assigned personnel\.

• Represent Production Operations on the Data Governance Council\.

• Serve as the Production Operations Business Architect\.

• Surveil relevant industry trends and technology developments\. Identify and act upon opportunities, in collaboration with Aero IT, to exploit information technology for competitive advantage in Production Operations\.

• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, recognition and discipline actions\.

• Must be a US Citizen\. This position supports a facility that requires special access\.

A level 6 employee **Typically has 20 \- 30\+ years** of professional experience\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

• Prior experience in leadership\.

• Strong familiarity with aerospace and defense production and production engineering processes and tools\.

• Experience with management information system development\.

• Broad technical depth in MES/PLM/ERP Systems and their relationships\.

• Basic familiarity with processes and tools of adjacent functions, including engineering, supply chain management and sustainment\.

**Desired Skills:**

• Experience with enterprise architecture discipline\.

• Experience with procurement of business software & tech services\.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience engaging and presenting in senior\-level leadership meetings\.

• Experience with Agile project management methodology\.
