The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems team supporting airborne tactical systems. This will include development, production and deployment of sensors and aircraft hardware and systems. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers.

What you will get to do: 

Provide systems engineering: Requirements, Architecture, Interfaces, Modeling/ Analysis, Verification Support

Develops new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models.

Simulates real-time operations and develops software that simulates behavior of systems.

Develops integrates and uses advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.

Models operational environments, performs trade studies via computer simulation and recommends alternative architectures.

Performs operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. 

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline from an ABET accredited university with 2 years of related technical experience; or a STEM Master's Degree

Experience Linux systems administration

Familiar with HPC concepts such as SLURM resource management system.

Active DoD Secret clearance granted or adjudicated in the last six years

Preferred Qualifications:

Software execution analysis and optimization for CPU utilization, RAM and hard disk access.

Knowledge of design tools for evaluating and optimizing simulation runs and large-scale data analytics.

 Knowledge of CICD, Docker, Web Development and Flask is desirable but not required.
