Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a SIL Hardware in the Loop Integration Manager 2 to join our team. This leadership role will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What you will get to do:
Integration Manager for the System Integration Lab (SIL). Candidate will be part of the Systems Test team and responsible for system test equipment design and integration for the system-level hardware in the loop test lines within the Integrated Test Facility.
The position requires technical knowledge of test environments with a focus in laboratory integration and test. The selected candidate must act with speed, be able direct concurrent operations while maintaining test rigor and demonstrating good configuration management of test assets. Candidate must also be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating with support functions and ensure adequate staffing for all test activities within the SILs
  • Managing crew schedules
  • Driving process rigor, ensure compliance to meet company, program, and security requirements
  • Communicate issues and provide solutions across IPTs and other shared users of the ITF system test lines
  • Continually seek to improve process inefficiencies

These positions will have a standard work schedule of 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's of Science in STEM with 7 years of related experience with Bachelor's; 5 years with Master's; 3 years with PhD
  • Active DoD Secret clearance investigated within the last 6 years.
  • 2 years of experience working in Integration and Test Environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent efforts
  • Experience in System Integration Lab build up and integration
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Familiar with metric based management
  • Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
