We are looking for Software Engineer to help our Endpoint Security Policy Adherence (ESPA) development team. EPSA is an automation platform for 802.1x compliance network’s scanning and management tool. Primary responsibilities for the individual in this role will be:

  • Developing ESPA based on requirements
  • Participating in Daily Update Meeting
  • Adhere to team standards, processes, workflows and schedules
  • Evaluate ESPA requirements to provide feedback and estimates to complete work
  • Approach development and production issues methodically
  • Must be comfortable working on multiple, complex issues and projects
  • Participate in production releases as required


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of Java experience
  • 2 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
  • 1 + years of technology release or implementation experience
  • 1+ year of Maven experience, Gradle experience or combination of both
  • 1 + year of automation or regression testing experience



Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Knowledge and understanding of Apache
  • Perl or Shell experience
  • 1+ year of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)
  • 1 + years of experience with front end frameworks such as Bootstrap
  • 1+ year of financial industry experience
  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience
  • 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 3+ years of Spring experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
  • Knowledge and understanding of Git or GitHub
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following build type tools: Maven, Gradle or Node.js



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Any industry-standard technology certification
  • Experience with Continuous-Integration/Continuous-Delivery concepts and tools, such as Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory and uDeploy


Job Expectations

  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
  • Position Hours: Monday - Friday (as early as 7 am and as late as 6 pm ).
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
