Your job

You will be a core member of our Industrial Industry team within Strategy & Consulting. As part of this team you will focus on our global clients in the manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineering and construction space. Industrial companies have operated in a challenging business environment, with decreasing growth perspectives, high cost pressure and political uncertainty in their main markets globally. At the same time, many Industrial companies stand at a pivot point in growing new services and business models, unleashing the opportunities of connected devices, data and delivering experiences that delight their customers. In this continuously evolving and unstable environment, we support industrial companies to retool, repurpose and reinvent themselves to shape their revival.

You will work on a broad range of topics, such as digital strategies and transformations, post-merger integrations, the shift from product to connected products and services and organizational transformations. You will oversee multiple projects, act as a program manager for large transformations and are responsible to build strong client relations. You will lead with insights to co-create and implement technology-enabled, disruptive strategies and solutions that unlock value and drive growth for clients. You have the ambition to continuously develop your industry knowledge, your advisory and commercial skills, and are expected and challenged to do so. As part of our Industrial team, you will also actively pursue and lead business development opportunities and have an active role in developing thought leadership and point of views on key developments in the Industrial sector.

Your background

+ University Master’s degree

+ Minimum between 8 - 12 years of relevant experience, with several years in consulting

+ In-dept understanding of Industrial industry (manufacturing, industrial equipment, engineering and construction), relevant Industrial industry network is desirable

+ Fluent in English (both spoken and written), fluent in Dutch is desirable

+ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills: proven ability to build effective teams and foster a team-oriented and inclusive environment and proven ability to build strong client relationships

+ Strong program management and communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Driven and entrepreneurial: you enjoy a challenge, your are determined, optimistic and you have a proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results
